Obituary for Marie Coppola

Marie Coppola (nee Gramoglia) 78, passed away on Thursday January 11th, 2018.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the O'Boyle Funeral Home, 309 Broad St. Bloomfield on Tuesday at 8:30 AM. The funeral mass will be offered at St. Lucy's Church in Newark at 10:00 AM. Interment Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield. Visitation will be on Monday from 4-8 PM. Born in Newark, Marie was a lifelong resident of Belleville. She was a Paraprofessional for the Belleville Board of Education for over 25 years retiring in 1999. She was an active member of the Holy Family Parish choir in Nutley for many years as well as a member of the Columbiettes. Marie enjoyed spending summer's in Ortley Beach and time in Atlantic City. She had a passion for playing the piano. She was a woman of deep faith and remarkably devoted to her grandchildren.

Marie was the wife of the late Morris Coppola; mother of Ginny Lima and her husband Dr. Frank Lima, and Lucy Ann Demikoff, grandmother of Nina, Emily and Olivia Lima, Tyler and Troy Morris Demikoff; sister of Joseph Gramoglia.

"Mom has left her mark on this Earth through loving her family unconditionally throughout her lifetime. She always referred to her grandchildren as her 5 greatest gifts. Our words can never fulfill or express our deepest gratitude and how much we will always love and miss you. Our daily conversations and family time spent together will always include you, front and center. Rest in Peace, Mom, and may God always hold you in the palm of his hand."
