Wilma Ruvo, 97, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 24th 2018.
She was born on April 6th 1920 in Long Valley, N.J.
She was an employee of Westinghouse in Newark, N.J. during WWII. She then entered nursing school at St. Michael's Hospital in Newark and became a registered nurse. She left nursing after marriage and the birth of her three children. She returned to work in the early 60's cleaning professional offices to support the family.
Wilma was married to Anthony Ruvo, who predeceased her in 1971. She is survived by her son Anthony and daughter Mary Zeiss and her husband Arthur. She is also survived by a grandson, Daniel and his wife Kirsten and two great grandchildren, Lucy and Benedict. Wilma also had a daughter, Patricia, who also predeceased her.
Visitation will be at the O'Boyle Funeral Home on Wednesday. A private cremation and interment will be held at a later date.
